Paralegal/Legal Secretary

Since 2001, DAG Law Firm, APC has been serving Southern California with proven success. We are a dynamic law firm, created with the objective of ensuring that litigants receive effective representation. We specialize in personal injury and tenants' rights and we are looking to hire one full-time Paralegal/Legal Secretary.

Requirements

• Three years minimum experience as a Paralegal/Legal Secretary
• Must possess at least two years of experience with Personal Injury and/or Tenant Law
• Must be bilingual English & Spanish
• Computer literacy
• Working knowledge of case management software
• Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
• Demonstrate commitment to working with low-income clients
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Duties

• Propound and respond to discovery, subpoenas, motions, and other pleadings.
• Prepare both pre and trial documents/binders.
• Draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents
• Communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions
• Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
• Provide general administrative assistance, such as maintaining the attorney's calendar
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management and/or Attorneys

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
