Known for the exemplary record in safety, thorough training quality and premium gear services, Waikiki Dive Center holds over 4 million safe dive record for over 44 years, the highest safety recorded on the islands. Proudly known as a customer-centric diving academy, Waikiki Dive Center offers multiple daily guided scuba boat tours to 15 best diving sites on Oahu, varies from 40ft to 125ft. Waikiki Dive Center is a home base for 25 PADI licensed and certified dive professionals
Waikiki Dive Center is also known for the only dive shop conveniencely located in the heart of Waikiki, short walk from all hotels. The work culture is friendly, professional and inclusive. We pride for our diversified team, with front line staffs and ocean crew speaking native Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, in addition to English. We operate 2 U.S. CoastGuard certified diving vessels. We offer free premium professional gear to all of our divers. It is a one-stop dive shop for certifications, snorkel rental, and gear services. We are seeking passionate and experienced customer service representative to join our customer-centric, engaging and fast-paced dive operation and retail shop.

Waikiki Dive Center is looking for 2 Retail Sales Associates to join our team! We have 2 locations in Honolulu, HI and are looking to expand our team. Both positions are of the Waikiki location.
Essential Functions:
- Exceed customer expectations while working as a team to create an unimagined shop experience
- Greet customers with "Aloha, welcome to Waikiki Dive Center" as they enter the shop
- Provide a high level of customer service with an open, calm, friendly demeanor and an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Be responsive and anticipating customer needs while demonstrating a keen awareness of the shop environment and be able to prioritize strategically
- Be collaborative as a positive, resourceful and detail orientated problem solver
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the shop to ensure welcoming, approachableness and warmness
- Performe shop duties including opening and closing routines, driving efficiency in all shop processes.
- Leverage product knowledge and expertise to help customers plan, reserve and enroll certification activities, diving trips and retail sales.
- Drive sales in booking and retail merchandise
- Reduce cost, expand bottom line, act upon asset protection timely
- Drive positive experience so that customers will want to do more scuba diving
- Pleasant with good learning capacity and unafraid to receive improvement opportunities
- Stay motivated to do well and better
- Help other team members succeed
- Duties including but not limited to specifically:
- Answer phone calls at all times, perform customer service duties, create new bookings, open and closing shift duties, setup gear for charters, prepare paperwork for students, process certifications, perform general janitorial tasks, keep the shop tidy, clean and welcoming at all times, print retail pricing labels, arranging merchandise, driving between harbor and shop, and fill tanks and load vans.
