Job Title: Outreach Manager
BALANCE eating disorder treatment center, a premium treatment center in Manhattan, is seeking a highly motivated, passionate Outreach Manager to join our expanding team!

The Position
This position serves as BALANCE’S outreach presence in the community. This person should fully understand the program and company messaging to accurately represent BALANCE to the referral community. Meet outreach goals focused on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as weekly meetings, phone calls and tours, inquiry volume, admission volume and obtaining a loyal referent base of referral partners.
Responsibilities:
- Run lead on planned events, dinners, educational events, tours, conferences and open houses with regards to referral partners.
- Develop press kit materials for media outlets, including press releases, images, pitch letters, case studies, feature articles, and trend stories
- Relationship building with members of the media, professional contacts and potential partners
- Help maintain the identity and reputation of the BALANCE. Evaluate public opinion of clients through surveys, polls, and social media listening
- Pitch to the media and securing press placements (national and international).
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns alongside marketing and admissions departments
- Arrange for press conferences, interviews, and other media and event appearances for the employer or client
- Tracking/monitoring client press, sending press placements out to the client in a timely manner
- Develop new business ideas and research, sitting in on potential referral and partnership meeting
- Respond to requests for information from media outlets
- Manage press and Referral contacts
- Track, evaluate, and share results of PR efforts
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics as necessary
- Follows the referral partner through the entire process of a client referral (inquiry, to admission to discharge).
- Conduct Webinars
Who You Are:
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum 1 year experience in eating disorders or behavioral health field, preferably in a community outreach or marketing role.
- 3+ years Leadership experience.
- Experience with word, excel, PowerPoint, CRM management and other software databases.
- Interpersonal/Communication skills are a must for this role. Strong customer service skills, ability to resolve conflict, accurately and effectively present information to management, site staff and the general public is a must.
- Reliable, showing up to meetings on time and adhering to their own schedules. This person has to be a self -starter and have good time management.
- Uphold professional boundaries with clients and co-workers as well as within the referral partner community. The person will show up to work in professional work attire. They will positively represent and promote BALANCE.
- Perform duties to the highest standards and stay within the parameters regarding ethical business practices.

- Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 Annual Salary
