Job Overview:
Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking an experienced Project Manager with a focus in Real Estate and Public Outreach to join our Mega Projects team remotely with travel to Syracuse, New York.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide overall project management tasks in the areas of comprehensive engineering design of electrical transmission and substation projects nationwide
- Managing various sized transmission/substation electric utilities projects
- Lead and participate in a wide variety of site development, Real Estate and environmental permitting.
- Land Acquisitions and notifications
- Right of Way
- Responsible for overall project performance as well as managing the scope, schedule, budget, and performance
- Working with Engineering Leads, Corporate Real Estate and others to track and execute client deliverables
- Perform and oversee project technical work
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in strong project management
- Experience in utility industry preferred
- PMP certification is preferred
- Experience with environmental planning, environmental policy, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Ability to organize work, work independently, problem-solve, and be persistent
