Aveva OSIPI Technical Specialist
Roles & Responsibilities
1Experienced OsiSoft PI (Aveva PI) Consultant with 10 + years' experience in OSIsoft PI software suite of components.
The consultant should have hands-on experience in PI Cloud infrastructure implementation.
The candidate should have working knowledge of solutions on data hubs and data lakes. Preferred Aveva data hub expertise.
The candidate should have hands-on expertise in developing custom interfaces and solutions using C#.
The consultant should be capable of working on advanced analytics solutions using PI AF analytics and, SEEQ or trend minor etc.
The candidate should have hand-on experience on data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
The PI Consultant is responsible for collaborating with customers to design, configure, develop, test and deploy real time data solutions using OSI PI (AVEVA) and Aveva data hub or other equivalent data hubs.
The PI System consultant is responsible for installation and configuration of OSI PI Suite of products (PI Server, AF Server and Interfaces etc.).
The successful candidate will be responsible for configuration and testing, related to PI Data Historian including but not limited to -
a. Developing real time data management system solutions
b. Working on datahubs and advanced analytics
c. PI AF Element templates and AF Elements
d. PI based dashboards (PI Vision/Process Book)
e. PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications and PI Event Frames
f. PI Interfaces: OPC DA/UA, RDBMS, PI to PI
g. PI Adapters and connectors
The successful candidate will collaborate with peers to translate business requirements to technical Design Specifications, and design solutions as required.
Preferred candidates having experience in supporting and developing solutions for Oil and gas, power utility industries.
Should utilize management skills to define road maps and delivery for complex and high impact projects
Preferred programming skills: C#, .Net, Visual Studio, SSIS, API/Adapter calls, SQL, Microsoft PowerBI
Additional skills:
Self-Motivated and Ability to learn quickly and independently.
Must be able to take on a project and run with it with minimal supervision.
Engage customers/stakeholders during the entire development lifecycle.
Ability to provide detailed documentation of end-to-end solution.
PI System Infrastructure accreditation/certification from OSIsoft/Aveva
