Position Overview:
Provides area wide Technical Support and expertise for instrumentation, remote monitoring and environmental systems. Ensures area fleet wide environmental regulation compliance.
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Maximizes cost effective and safe customer mechanical runtime reliability.
- Provide phone and on-line Technical Support for customer and field tech inquiries.
- Perform service and troubleshooting activities for commissioning and repair of monitoring systems, control systems and applications; including instrumentation, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
- Maintains unit emission standards on all area units.
- Work with service personnel to achieve emission compliance in accordance with state issued emission permits. Support area wide fleet emissions measurements
- Works directly with customers and 3rd party testing companies on all emission related issues.
- Performs onsite emissions compliance testing utilizing emissions analyzer
- Make recommendations for retrofit/modifications to existing equipment.
- Generate/modify technical documents to represent any retrofitting or changes in existing equipment design and operation.
- Provide end-user classroom and hands on training.
- Builds positive working relationships and trust with customer personnel by understanding their requirements and making appropriate recommendations
- Maintains the cleanliness of Company equipment and surrounding area
- Adhere to safety requirements by wearing appropriate protective gear
- Ability to work independently with little or no direct supervision
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and understand piping and instrumentation diagram, fabrication drawings and electrical schematics.
- Thorough understanding of tagging and symbol conventions, data logging and reporting.
- Requires completion of high school (or equivalent) and 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical applications operations/troubleshooting.
- Prefer experience with PLC Programming.
- Required 5 years of experience in maintaining natural gas compression equipment, including natural gas engines, compressors, control panels, skid wiring and conduit, end devices, tubing, vessels, and coolers
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Proficient English language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension)
- Prefer associate’s degree or higher in related field

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
