Order Processing Specialist

Position Summary

Responsible for the full cycle of Order Processing. Process orders within ERP system, build bill of material and create routers. Manage truck breakdowns and print required documents for the shop floor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Ensure accuracy on all new orders being entered into JobBoss2 and verify that part numbers, descriptions, weights, etc.

· Build BOM’s per engineering blueprints; calculate weights, material usage and enter part numbers

· Update routing by adding the correct machine(s). quality control requirements and completion time

· Collaborate with Inventory Manager and procurement to ensure accurate inventory of items required to fulfill the order

· Print and assemble job travelers and verify all routers and drawings are correct to deliver to shop floor

· Closely follow custom projects through the shop and reach out to Production Manager for guidance with build issues/suggestions and first part approval

· Assist the Production Manager and Production Supervisor’s with part build processes and questions regarding material specifics

· Attend daily Production Meetings

· Assist the Production Scheduler as needed with the scheduling of projects

· Responsible for tracking administrative training records

· Frequently check your email and respond immediately to all inquiries

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
