National Grid is looking for a Lead Analyst, Process and Performance Improvement. This is a hybrid position with office visits at least 1-2 times a week.. Job Purpose
The Lead. Analyst Process and Performance Reporting will help to continue to advance the Electric Business Unit along its path of continuous improvement. The expectations of this role include: completion of process work as assigned, providing ad-hoc analysis for the organization, identification of metrics which will help improve team productivity or efficiency, and becoming a trusted advisor to the organization for questions regarding process and performance. Our team supports the Electric Business Unit. The projects run by the team have the potential to impact National Grid as a whole and our customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Completion of Process work as assigned
- Creation of artifacts for performance meetings at all levels.
- Supporting team members in creation of data visualizations to demonstrate performance
- Develop metrics that demonstrate quality, time, or cost performance
- Management and communication with key stakeholders across the business
Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
Qualifications
- Passion for data and data enabled business Process Improvements
- Experienced utilizing the lean skillset (Process Mapping, Critical Problem Solving, Data analysis, Solution Selection, Kaizen events, Mistake Proofing, Kanban applied digitally)
- Good communicator
- Experienced designing solutions utilizing Tableau, PowerBI, or similar
- Experienced user of MS office suite including Word, Excel, PPT
- Experience with Visio or similar, Sharepoint, and MS Power Apps
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Experience using Tableau or Power BI to create data visualizations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced operations environment
- Experience driving an organization’s data maturity forward

$102,000 - $122,000 a year
Salary:
Hicksville (Long Island, NY) and Brooklyn (Down State NY)
$122,000-$143,000 a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
