Join Our Mission

This position is responsible for quality improvement initiatives by providing monitoring and 

evaluation services and support to the Foster Care program with a specific focus on services 

provided to Foster Care youth and their families by the Family Specialist. The role will support 

best practice through the program lens and partner closely with the Foster Care teams. 

Job Responsibilities

• Develops systematic structures with leadership to monitor and evaluate quality and 

appropriateness of client care in the Foster Care program and service delivery. Actively 

engages leadership in communicating continuous improvement activities through 

reporting, periodic meetings, and communications with staff.

• Administers, collects, and evaluates survey data. Monitors and evaluates individual and 

aggregate data of Foster Care staff development initiatives and services.

• Contributes and makes recommendations for program policies, protocols and procedures, 

state/deferral regulations and COA standards related to foster program development and 

service delivery.

• Consults with management regarding risk reporting protocols, corrective actions related 

to incident risk assessment, follow up plans, reducing future risk and program outcomes 

data.

• Collaborates with leadership to identify training needs. Coordinates, develops, and 

conducts training programs including developing curriculum and training materials and 

determines appropriate instructional method.

• Ability to track and analyze data for trends and patterns.

• Basic experience in developing and coordinating training programs using a variety of methods. Strong presentation skills.

• Ability to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner. Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Organization and time management skills including the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment in a fast paced and energetic culture. 

• Handles confidential information with discretion. 

• Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.

• Ability to provide one-on-one and group coaching.

 Job Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required.

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience. Preferred experience in the non-for-profit and/or child welfare industry. 

• Must have a valid driver’s license. Ability to travel locally, regionally and potentially statewide, flexible hours.

• Moderate knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

 

Salary

$26.44 – $27.40 per hour. ($55,000-$57,000 annual pay)
