**This position is a hybrid role (in office 50% of the time) and you must be located in or willing to relocate to Dallas.****About the RoleAs an integral part of our Order to Cash (O2C) team, the Order Management and Billing Manager will play a critical role in leading and optimizing the end-to-end Order Management and billing processes! This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order processing and accurate billing. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Order Management, billing, and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles!What You'll Do****Order Processing and Management:- Lead the Order Management process, validate deal compliance and adherence to company policies.- Collaborate with sales, customer service, and OTC teams to streamline order workflows and resolve any issues related to order processing.Billing:**- Supervise billing operations, including invoice generation and T&Cs accuracy.
Once completed, the invoice delivery team will send out invoices to our B2B Customers in a timely manner.- Work closely with Sales to reconcile billing discrepancies, eliminate disputes and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Management:- Work closely with the BPO organization to ensure outstanding results are achieved on this OTC Module while ensuring Customer satisfaction and team alignmentProcess Enhancement and Optimization:- Identify and assess opportunities to improve Order Management & Billing, implementing standard methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.- Collaborate with FinTech and Eng teams to evaluate, improve, or implement systems and tools to streamline Order Management and billing workflows.Reporting and Analysis:- Develop and maintain key performance metrics related to billing and Order Management processes, providing regular reports and insights to leadership.- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.Basic Qualifications- 10+ Years of professional experience in Billing, Order Management, or a similar role within OTC operations, including leading and managing a sizable team.- BA/BS or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or EngineeringPreferred Qualifications- Extensive experience in collaborating cross-functionally, specifically in interfacing partnerships with Sales Operations or related departments to drive synchronized and efficient workflows.- Excellent interpersonal skills, and strong background partnering with internal business clients, external customers, and a wide range of external service providers, including Business Process Outsourced (BPO)- The ability to think strategically and influence the end-to-end scope to design ad hoc process and Policies to support the aspirations and strategies of our partners and LOBs in a fluid and efficient way- Experience working in a high-growth, high-volume organization- Familiarity with ERP and OTC software solutions such as Oracle, Salesforce etc.- Expertise in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite- Strong understanding of internal controls, including Sarbanes Oxley compliance- Experience or active exposure to sophisticated technologies e.g., Machine Learning, AI, RPA etc. is a must- Expertise in SQL with demonstrable expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions across multiple database systems.- Certification in relevant areas (e.g., Six Sigma, Project Management) is a plus.For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$114,000 per year - USD$127,000 per year.You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
