SalaryTexas State Optical is looking for an experienced optometric assistant/receptionist. We are looking for an individual who can enhance our practice by providing excellent communication skills, have strong organizational ability, and possess a strong work ethic. In addition, candidate must be both professional and friendly with staff and patients.
Job requirements included are:
- Greeting patients when they enter the office
- Scheduling patients and answering phones
- Pretesting patients
- Insurance verification and billing
- Contact lens knowledge and ordering experience
- Coordinating patient flow
- Assisting Doctor as needed
- Previous experience with an optometrist or ophthalmologist preferred
