SalaryExpress Vision in Houston, TX is looking for one Optometrist Assistant to join our 11 person strong team. We are located on 12343 S Main St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.
Responsibilities
- *Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner *Verifying patient's insurance benefits prior to exams *Maintaining office cleanliness and organization of resources *Greeting patients, checking them in and out of appointments *Collecting co-pays and deductibles *Working up patients prior to seeing the doctor, including operating pre-testing equipment *Experience with insurances and medical billing is preferred but not required. *Dispensing contacts and glasses,
Qualifications
- *Proven experience working as a front desk agent or similar position *Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing documents *Excellent customer service skills and courteous phone manner *Time-management and organizational skills *Spanish Speaking is a plus
