Operations Support Coordinator

At Otter Tail Power Company, our employees support the communities we serve by producing reliable, affordable, and environmentally responsible electricity. The Operations Support Coordinator will support the human side of operations including:

* Leading the administration of payroll, accounts payable and compliance requirements.
* Assisting with the administrative elements of construction projects from conception to closure.
 * Managing the life cycle for customer contracts from draft to closure.
* Supporting various Customer Service teams as a backup including the Outage Management System team for rotational on call needs and the Customer Care team when call volumes exceed typical expectations.

To be successful in this role, we’re looking for candidates who are detail-oriented, extremely organized and love being a part of a team.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills as you partner with various internal and external teams.
*Critical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in order to support the variety of operational needs and projects.
* An associate degree would be a great bonus, but equivalent and relevant work experience will qualify as well.
Accounting, familiarity with collective bargaining agreements and utility exposure are all a plus but not required.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a pre-interview assessment.
