Operations Support Specialist

The Operations Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the corporate operations team with a variety of monthly/weekly/daily administrative needs. Projects and tasks will fall within diverse areas including fleet management, driver compliance, record keeping, safety reporting, facility compliance, location moves, and tactical day-to-day support for the operations team.
Compensation: $23.68 - $29.56 / hour
Responsibilities/Duties:

• Ensure DOT-regulated employees have been accurately entered into proper systems during onboarding process
• Support ongoing compliance and recordkeeping of Driver Qualification (DQ) files and maintenance records
• Cooperate with IDI warehouse locations to maintain a compliant and safe trucking fleet and driver records
• Support ad-hoc reporting needs through various IDI and vendor partner systems
• Confirm DOT Certifications through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners
• Assist with annual filing and tax processes for truck fleet
• Assist the operations team with projects related to process improvement and compliance
• Become a specialist and subject matter expert in operations systems such as Motive, WEX, and Percipio
• Help IDI regions and distribution centers resolve tactical issues associated with trucks, drivers, and facilities on a day-to-day basis
• Assign and track online trainings to all operations new hires

Qualifications/Skills:

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Previous admin experience preferred
• Organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education and/or Experience:

• High school Diploma; GED; or Equivalent
• 1-3+ years' experience in related areas
