GDIT is seeking highly experienced and qualified Operations Specialist to support our Mission Command (MC) training teams at the Fort Bliss, TX Mission Training Complex (MTC). The ideal candidate acts as a recognized technical expert in base labor category description.
HOW THE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Provides operational, intelligence, and administrative planning support necessary to meet the needs of the task order by providing capability briefings and demonstrations of various training systems and simulation capabilities for Mission Command Training audience, Sr. Leaders and Government-designated officials.
- Provides narration, equipment demonstration, and current exercise status.
- Provides event and administrative scheduling to support MTC operations.
- Provides a Quarterly and Annual training summary based on the Fiscal Year calendar (October thru September) NLT 10 days from the end of the quarter and 30 days from the end of the FY.
- Utilizes expertise and experience in staff training best practices, industry requirements and information technology disciplines to develop technical and training solutions in support of Army mission command training.
- Has a high level of diverse technical and industry experience related to a specific skill set.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: BS in Management, Business Administration or a related discipline or equivalent years of experience.
- Experience: Five (5) years' experience on a US Military staff (Battalion or higher). Three (3) years of experience in the management of project, program, or site of similar size, scope and complexity.
- Required Skills and Abilities:
- Physical Security background or experience.
- Security Clearance: Secret required to start
- Desired Skills:
- Location: Fort Bliss, TX MTC. Normal work schedule is 0730-1630, may require night or weekend work shifts depending on specific training event requirements
- Travel: Less than 10% expected
