Description
The Mission Coordinators/Operations Specialist (MC/OS) will supplement the Supervisor of Flying/Group Duty Officer (SOF/GDO) during Wing flight operations. Will support weekend flight operations when required. MC/OS activities include flying schedule execution, aircraft tracking, documentation, maintenance coordination, aircraft and flight space de-confliction, aircraft services (such as coordination with the 377th ABW for refueling, etc.), 377th Command.
- Post coordination and reporting requirements, emergency actions, and rescue operations coordination.
- Maintain qualification training for the use and control of classified material for COMSEC, radios, computers, and telephones, and be responsible for such items.
- Maintain an internal training program and be responsible for all IG inspection items and all Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) checklist items as appropriate.
- Update and maintain the Wing "Quick Reaction" Checklists and be responsible for initiation and completion as directed by the SOF/GDO.
- Will train new or junior MC/OSs as needed.
- Be accountable to the Training Resource Manager for MC/OS functions regarding data accuracy, maintaining database integrity and security.
- Adherence to all site policies and procedures and performs other duties as directed by the ATC Program Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Computer literate, ability to use and learn computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, STORM, and GTIMS Applications).
- Previous experience in military or civilian aircraft radio communications.
- Previous experience using and controlling classified material for COMSEC.
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Ability to work in fast paced, high stress environment, while maintaining a good working relationship with all members of the team, all customers, and management.
- Previous experience in military or civilian Training Resource Management preferred.
- Previous experience utilizing STORM/GTIMS (Training Management System).
