Roles & Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Order Processing: Receive, process, and fulfill orders in a timely manner, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
- Shipping Coordination: Coordinate shipping logistics, including selecting appropriate carriers, arranging pickups, and preparing shipping documents such as bills of lading and customs paperwork.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and quality, ensuring that all items meet company standards.
- Warehouse Organization: Organize and maintain warehouse space to optimize efficiency and facilitate easy access to inventory.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Communication: Liaise with internal teams, external suppliers, and shipping carriers to resolve issues, provide status updates, and ensure smooth operations.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve discrepancies, shipping errors, and other issues that may arise during the shipping and receiving process.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, shipping activities, and related documentation for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the customer service team, including training, coaching, and performance management.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate customer interactions to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded, providing feedback and coaching as necessary.
- Problem Resolution: Handle escalated customer issues and complaints, working to find effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to address customer needs and improve overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
- This beginner position is ideal for an individual looking for a great work/life balance.
- Must be able to work in an office / Warehouse environment.
- Must be able to work with Microsoft office, Google docs and be efficient and comfortable with working on a computer.
- Must be able to speak and write English fluently. Spanish speakers ++
