NOVVA Data Centers is a privately held data center company with state-of-the-art wholesale and multi-tenant colocation data centers, providing data infrastructure & colocation services to meet the unique IT needs of local, national, and international businesses, organizations, and enterprises.

Responsibilities of Data Center Security Include:
- Access Control/Security badge creation
- Checking in visitors/employees
- Monitoring CCTV
- Answering phone/emails
- Follows all Novva policies and procedures.
- Write clear, detailed, accurate reports in line with our standard operating procedures (SOP), training and guidelines set forth by Novva Standard Operating Procedures
- Conduct all your duties with the highest level of professionalism, tenacity and a superior work ethic with a willingness to carry out directives by management.
- Security Observances: Reporting on safety issues, people and vehicles present, perimeter issues, etc.
- Staying vigilant to detect unauthorized vehicles, trespassers and unauthorized individuals.
- Employees are required to learn the company software and use it in the appropriate manner to maintain efficiency and submit well-written reports in real time.
Requirements:
- A high school degree or GED is mandatory. Advanced education a plus
- Successful completion of drug test and background checks
- Military / Police / Security experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Completion of all company provided online and on job training in allotted time restrictions.
- Strong customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills

- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing for the purpose of public interaction and report writing.
- Ability to learn and use new software efficiently.
- Able to provide proof of ability to work in the United States
- Ability to deal with internal and external clients and visitors to ensure compliance with fair employment practices.
- Ability to get along with other employees, follow directions, and work under austere conditions.
- Ability to conform to established procedures and to help identify and solve problems.
