Operations Manager

Sarah Macfadden has been making and selling her jewelry in New York City for over 25 years. Her collections are unique in that all of her pieces are handmade and beautifully crafted.

Your primary role will be assisting Sarah in all the aspects of running a small, handcrafted business. If you are ambitious and interested in helping to grow a business, this an excellent challenge. We are looking for a person who is especially skilled in problem solving and developing a vision for how to take a business to the next level. This brand has great potential for growth.

In this role, you must be comfortable wearing many different hats to manage the multiple facets of this growing company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* communicating with the designer and production assistant to set daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly production goals.

* Input wholesale and retail orders via Quickbooks in production schedule and maintain so it is up to date to keep studio on track.

* Work with designer to check quality control and send pieces back to production assistants as needed.

* Pack up wholesale and retail orders, create shipping labels and collect payments.

* Input orders and invoices into Quickbooks.

* Maintain relationships with current wholesale and retail customers.

* Setting up and managing customer campaigns.

* Communicate with current wholesale accounts about orders and reorders, as well as managing outstanding payments.

* New customer and buyer reach out.

* Assisting team in managing social media presence.

QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of experience in a jewelry production environment and/or sales enviroment.

Proficient in Quickbooks, Shopify, Microsoft Office Excel, Google Suite, and advanced computer skills.

Strong problem solving skills.

Attention to detail essential.

Reliable at meeting deadlines.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
