Operations Manager-Girls Inc. of San Diego County
Salary: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00 (DOE)

Position Summary: Girls Inc. of San Diego County (GISD) seeks a full-time Operations Manager who will inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The Operations Manager supports the development, implementation, and assessment of Girls Inc. of San Diego's short and long-term objectives. The Operations Manager is responsible for program operations support, organizational policy development, data management, human resources, communication/marketing support, and fund development support. The position is key in the onboarding and training of new hires and is part of the Leadership team.

- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of experience
- Managing budgets preferred
- Bilingual preferred
Your Responsibilities
Operations & Programs- 50%
- Support Program Manager in executing program-specific evaluation efforts: outcome measurements, program evaluation plan development, implementation, and data management for each Girls Inc. program
- Create more opportunities for staff training and tracking across staff safety, mandated reported
- Manage and oversee compliance of all program partner agreements and MOU’s
- Oversees systems, processes, and policies to support the infrastructure of the needs of the organization- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow, business process, HR, financial and organizational planning
- Develops and promotes efficient systems and procedures to improve productivity, accuracy, and consistency across the organization
- Ensures strong risk-management measures are in place
- Attends meetings to maintain effective communication
- Reviews insurance needs and coverage
- Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance
Personnel & Human Resources- 20%
- Contribute to a common vision and the overall administration of the organization
- Oversee and update organizational policies and procedures to ensure strategic goals and objectives are being met
- Oversees annual review and update of the Employee Handbook and that all organizational policies and procedures are understood and adhered to consistently by all employees.
- Oversee/ manage professional development and continued learning for staff- includes outreach to community resources to support training needs
- Interpret and explain human resource policies and procedures with staff regularly, consulting with appropriate management as needed
- Manage onboarding paperwork, background checks, and all related payroll forms
- Support Program Manager with the recruitment, hiring, and training as needed
- Sign off and submit new hire and separation paperwork promptly
- Creates and promotes a positive, transparent, and results-oriented work environment that consistently informs the organization's strategy, operational methods, and needs
- Facilitates cross-departmental administrative, operations, and program collaboration and strengthens internal communications with staff throughout the organization
- Attend staff meetings, management meetings, and training as needed
- Review employee's timesheets and submit payroll
Data Management/ Compass 360 (10%)
- Collaborate on data management infrastructure
- Collaborate on outcome measurement strategies and data in conjunction with the leadership team
- Assist with data entry (attendance) and reporting through Compass 360
- SSBOS administration
- Tracking for grant outcomes
- Manage surveys, SSBOS inputs, AMAT, participant household information, program and delivery calendar
- Extract necessary data for grant purposes, annual reports, site-to-site reporting, and data tables as necessary
Marketing and Communications (5-10%)
- Manage timelines and communications for donor stewardship
- Create and manage communications platforms and timelines
- Website Management
Fund development support / Grant Compliance and relationship management (5-10%)
- Manage grant and reporting calendar
- Track Grant outcomes and deliverables
- Prepare reports and financials
Finance support (5%)
- Track, order and manage program supplies/ expenses including incentives, field trips, transportation, Girls Inc. merchandise, and program supplies.
