The Senior Manager of People Insights Strategy & Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of People Insights (PI) by developing and implementing a robust strategic planning process, increasing our operational efficiency, and streamlining communication.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
- Lead the development and execution of a strategic People Insights planning process that is in alignment with HR's broader strategies and goals.
- Play a key leadership role by collaborating with the VP and helping guide and execute efforts across all major work streams.
- Identify opportunities across initiatives to capture both direct and indirect value.
- Design, plan and lead the People Insights Community of Practice.
Operational Excellence
- Build model to measure level of effort and maximize efficient resource capacity.
- Define the end-to-end operating model, including intake, tools, processes, structure, and accountabilities, to maximize PI efficiency and resource capacity.
- Ensure compliance with PMO standards.
Communication
- Act as strategic communications connector across HR analytics teams to ensure relevant information is disseminated appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Lead PI planning and PI Community of Practice forums, shaping the strategic focus, identifying key issues, and advancing critical topics.
- Serve as an expert advisor and primary PI COE integrator across the enterprise.
Decision-Making & Influence
- Ability to represent People Insights for intake, capacity, resourcing, and consultation.
- Influence decision-making within PI and the broader Community of Practice to bring operational model to life, identify efficiencies, and drive change.
- Collaborate with senior workforce analytics leaders, finance, and HR PMO to manage workflows across HR analytics organizations.
Portfolio & Knowledge Management
- Oversee project portfolio, ensuring relevant inputs, prioritization, and efficient resource allocation.
- Utilize tools and techniques for effective decision-making and maintain a repository of ongoing work to identify potential connections with other initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the capacity to guide teams, influence organizational change, and collaborate across global teams at all levels.
- Exceptional communication skills, understanding when to proactively and strategically communicate, connecting dots, and choosing communication vehicles that drives messaging most impactfully.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Experience leading operations, with a focus on efficiency and process improvements.
- Track record of leading cross-functional projects from start to finish in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, balance multiple detailed projects and drive results.
- Familiarity with HR analytics tools and techniques, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Suburb organizational skills, with experience designing and maintaining systems and processes that streamlines workflows and improves efficiency.
The hiring range for this position in California is $141,200.00 to $172,400.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
