The Spirit of the Position:
The Operations Manager oversees theDenver Airport parking operation under the direction of the Assistant GeneralManager to ensure 24/7 professional parking management and operationalexcellence. The Operations Manager supports the operationalteam to ensure the parking operation is running as expected, ensures alldepartments are successful in completing daily tasks and duties and helpscoach, train and improve upon areas of opportunity. The Operations Manager willsupport the programs and initiatives originating from our local and home officeand help support the individual needs of their operational teams throughouttheir assigned location.
Principal Job Duties:
- Manage and ensure daily business operation performs asexpected; understand and report any anomaly that may occur that would impedeusual business practices and flow.
- Promote and train first-class customer service.
- Lead, direct, and develop a team of employees to accomplish dailytasks and duties that will ensure daily reporting to the city meets contractualobligation and compliance
- Identifying high-potential employees to support theorganization’s continued growth.- Assist with the management and development of staffto accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives, while embodying and usingLAZ Parking’s culture as a guideline.
- Identify, develop and modify procedures that improveefficiency and workplace safety.
- Manage the planning, scheduling, training, anddirecting of activities for the front-line staff, leads and supervisors toensure expectations are met.
- Administer and assist in proper time entriesinto payroll system, payroll processing; ensuring sign off of electronic timecardson a weekly basis; collaborating with the local payroll department to ensurepay data is completed properly.
- Work with Human Resources to ensure properwage and hour compliance.
- Assist in producing and delivering Daily, Weekly, Monthly, andAnnual operational and financial reports as required.- Managing, planning, scheduling, training, and directing the staff activities,which may require compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreements.- Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that mayarise from the operation of the assigned portfolio.- Communicate with airport police department and emergency management teamsregarding operations. - Additional related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
