Form of workSubstitute Assistant Teacher needed to work in an elementary school with children with social, emotional and behavioral issues. Successful candidates would be willing to get called early in the morning and would assist classroom staff in supporting the students during the school day.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
A demonstrated ability to work with children in a K-5 special education setting. Experience with special needs students with emotional/behavioral challenges preferred. Ability to lift, push, pull at least 40 lbs. Ability to move quickly from standing to floor and floor to standing.
Must be able to pass a CORI and Fingerprint background check.
