Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing business plans and strategies to align with the organization's goals.
- Oversees and coordinates with Director the activities of other account managers to achieve contractual goals
- Develop relationships with businesses, business associations, economic development agencies, etc.
- Coordinate recruitment events with businesses.
- Exposure to or knowledge of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and public workforce development system is preferred.
- Supports with creating Strategic Operational Procedures and documenting process flow.
- Managing recruitment events and creating operational processes for all departments to follow.
- Evaluates current in-office and virtual processes and provide process improvements
- Experience in one of the following areas: personnel, economic development, human resources, job development, sales, or account management.
- This role may have direct reports.
Work and Education Requirements:
- Exposure to or knowledge of WIOA and public workforce development systems, in general, is preferred.
- Experience in one of the following areas: personnel, human resources, job development, sales, or account management.
- BA or BS degree or the equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years’ experience as an Account Manager/Job Developer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment
- Ability to problem solve and work with a diverse customer base
- Must have the ability to work well with all levels of the organization and individuals with multiple barriers
- Must be able to handle assignments quickly and efficiently, meet deadlines, and handle confidential matters in a mature and responsible manner
- Must exhibit excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
