Operations Manager

The Operations Manager supports the Plant Manager in the daily operations and administrative functions in an assigned facility.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Responsible for meeting or exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
• Review and analyze daily and weekly reports to ensure constant improvement in operations.
• Work with onsite management to ensure customer expectations of the highest level of quality standards and service are achieved.
• Motivate, encourage, train, and challenge supervisors and employees.
• Partner with Plant Manager to ensure timely completion and administration of all employment and labor transactions including employee scheduling, timekeeping, corrective actions, status changes, and separations.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, training, and retention of employees
• Assist in establishing and maintaining consistent and proper communication with internal and external management staff.
• Work closely with onsite management personnel to ensure operational success and administrative compliance.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (4-year college or technical school): Preferred

Experience: 3+ years of experience in Operations Management

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Certifications & Licenses: Valid Driver's License, Forklift Certification
