1. (Monday, Tuesday, Friday) 2:00 pm-10:00 pm (Wednesday-Thursday) 2:00 pm-5:00 pm
2. (Monday-Friday) 10:00 pm-6:00 am (Saturday & Sunday 12:00 am-6:00 am) (4 ON/4 OFF ROTATION)
3. Weekends: 4:00 pm-12:00 am (Alternating every other Saturday or Sunday)

Role:
The operations Coordinator plays a critical role in connecting VetMed's teleradiology team with healthcare facilities across the country. As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing administrative and clerical tasks, analyzing, and improving worklist flow, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the remote office. Your primary goal is to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience for external clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage teleradiology worklist by communicating with radiologists, hospital technicians, and referring physicians.
- Answer inbound calls to the 844 Operations phone number politely and professionally.
- Receive inbound requests from clients and ensure timely follow-up is completed, including requests for addendums, re-sending reports, and addressing other day-to-day issues.
- Document internal and external quality assurance or quality control issues.
- Comply with HIPAA rules and always maintain patient confidentiality. Use encrypted communications such as Virtual or secure faxes when sending or receiving protected health information (PHI) or personally identifiable information (PII).
- Maintain company-issued equipment in working order and a secure environment. Never store confidential patient information on a company-issued computer.
Qualifications:
- Must be located in Florida or Texas.
- High school diploma required. Associate degree Preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with medical terminology preferred but optional.
- Must have internet access and VoIP phone experience.
- Ability to pass a federal background check.
- Strong professional interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with all teammates and medical professionals.
- Knowledge of Excel and Outlook and an ability to learn new programs is a must.
- Excellent written skills, including correct grammar and spelling.
- Ability to read and interpret relevant information in a medical document.
- Must be reliable and able to work without direct supervision.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to speak English.
