Position Overview: The Operations and Training Coordinator (Platform Manager) is a multifaceted role responsible for overseeing training initiatives, inventory management, POS platform operations, and general office administration. This role requires a dynamic individual who can seamlessly integrate various operational aspects to ensure smooth business processes and effective staff training.
Key Responsibilities:
Training:
- Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for new and existing staff.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify training needs and areas of improvement.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely replenishments.
- Implement and oversee inventory control measures to reduce wastage and losses.
POS Platform Management:
- Administer and maintain the POS system, ensuring its smooth operation.
- Train staff on POS usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Coordinate with the IT department for any system upgrades or issues.
Office Administration:
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure a conducive working environment.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications and meetings.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move items up to 30 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
