Operations Assistant Manager

This is a fulltime lead position in a manufacturing shop. The position will be responsible for operating manufacturing software, scheduling, and troubleshooting machine operations, and monitoring production schedules.

We are looking for someone that shares our values, has relevant experience, and is able to effectively lead the prefabrication operations.

Ideal Candidate Will:

Demonstrate a high level of computer proficiency, and be able to quickly learn the software required for performance of daily tasks. Be able to adapt schedules and adjust workflow and tasking when priorities change. Additionally, this candidate should be professional and demonstrate quality leadership for the valued people on our team.

Job specific training will be provided for the right candidate with some relevant experience. We ask that you are already familiar and have relevant experience in a couple operations within the shop.

Prefabrication Operations include but are not limited to:

• Press Brake / Sheet Metal Forming 
• Laser Cutting
• Plasma Table Cutting
• Bandsaw Cutting
• CNC Router Table
• CNC Mill

General skills needed:

• Blueprint reading
• Computer / technology skills
• Professional written and verbal communication
• Reading tape measure, calipers, and angle finders to quality checking parts
• Familiarity with sheet metal forming and cutting operations
• Manufacturing experience
