Seattle integrative cancer center is an independently operated cancer treatment facility conveniently located in the Seattle South Center suburban hub area. We provide a dynamic mix of treatment approaches including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and nutritional therapies to cancer patients from all over the country who come to seek our care. Position Overview:
We are seeking an Infusion Nurse to join our team due to increasing patient demand. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and comfortable in working with cancer patients. Infusion treatment skills are preferred but not required as we will provide extensive and continuous on the job training.
Responsibilities:
- Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments to oncology patients in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Monitor patient responses to treatments and side effects, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, potential side effects, and self-care strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of advancements in oncology and infusion nursing.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Current WA State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
