We are looking for an Infusion Nurse in Rock Island, WA
We are seeking an individual who thrives in the company of patients and families living with rare diseases. We need a nurse who is at ease in a variety of patient populations and is comfortable caring for patients from a multitude of cultural heritages
- Age: Child
- Infusion frequency: every other week
- Duration: ~5 - 7 hrs.
The specific experience and skills needed for this role are as follows:
- Training will be provided on the disease state and drug.
- Experience mixing medication in patient's home using aseptic technique preferred
- Experience with accessing and DE accessing ports
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to effectively communicate with patients and their families in a professional, compassionate manner required
· Have and maintain current CPR certification
· Home infusion skills related to patient safety/infection prevention preferred
Job Types: Contract, Per diem
Pay: $70.00 - $85.00 per hour
