Reporting to the Director of On Premise, you will manage relationships with our foodservice distribution network and increase execution through our DSD distributors. Your main priorities include overseeing distribution and volume goals within the region and developing premium brand execution in channels according to our national strategy. Accelerating REACH and availability remains our department's #1 strategic priority. You will also communicate priorities and implement sales initiatives, develop annual business plans, measure goal execution, and monitor sales/POS.
IMPLEMENT OUR STRATEGY WITH DISTRIBUTORS
Develop a communication process to ensure agreement and understanding of strategies, initiatives, and targets
Communicate with distributor leadership (inclusive of distributor partner principal and broadline) to assess progress against strategy and initiatives
Implement the annual business plan through all On Premise distributor routes to market
Cultivate relationships with important distribution management partners to implement business plans and advance important objectives
GO-TO-MARKET STRATEGY
Establish communication schedule for National On Premise Account mandates/LTOs, VIP Program status, and Pricing agreement.
Ensure DPs implement a tracking system to monitor progress against targets
Lead Internal On Premise foodservice strategy for the Region, via Broker management, and distributor partner management
Coordinate and attend local food shows
BUSINESS PLAN
Develop annual business plans for organization requirements, POS/resource needs, distribution, volume, investments, and measurements for success. This includes sales blitz development, Broadline Distributor Big Moments (Foodshows, GSMS, Events)
Develop plans with DP during reviews to course correct and achieve the annual business plan.
Partner with Distributor Partner Manager (DPM) and DP on annual business plan development
Develop and highlight important customer opportunities to close SKU and Distribution voids to ensure optimum assortment Is available to local distributors
Lead Identification and acquisition strategy for prioritized Incremental foodservice operator targets within the region
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Develop an understanding of responsible market and its characteristics, and support DP with actionable insights
Maintain a working knowledge of all Red Bull and distributor/branch systems (e.g. The Hub, MSA, CPM, BI).
Analyze monthly reports to find the largest areas of opportunity for DP, and use those insights to improve market conditions
Track internal budgets
Volume forecasting per distributor location according to national volume objectives
Perform audits to ensure VIP program compliance and return on investment
Hold DPs accountable for data submission to ensure accurate information; track daily/weekly submissions
DISTRIBUTOR STRUCTURE AND ACCOUNTABILITY EXPERT
Work in the field with the broader On-Premise Region team to develop programs and relationships internally and with distributor sales personnel
Highlight opportunities and develop curated targets for On Premise department blitzes and sales Interactions
Maintain working knowledge of the distributor's internal systems and structure
Understand the distributor's hierarchy and have relationships from the top-down
DISTRIBUTOR TRAINING
Lead team-based training initiatives to develop and support the DP sales team
Ensure adoption/usage of WINGTIPS, training tools
Lead training of Region Sales specialists on RTM ways of working and processes with sales force.
Share and enforce guidelines about our inventory policy
5+ years of sales experience in Consumer Product Goods or FMCG, foodservice industry (Beverage Preferred)
4+ years of leadership experience
Negotiation experience
Distributor, Supplier, or Broadline distributor experience
Valid Driver's License
Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
