Virtual Spoke Manager/ Delivery Driver

Problem Resolution:

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful Virtual Spoke Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in establishing and managing Virtual Spokes within our organization. The Virtual Spoke Manager will collaborate closely with the Branch Manager to ensure the seamless integration of delivery services, sales transactions at Virtual Spoke locations. This role demands excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Delivery Driver responsibilities include:

• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
• Follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Ask for feedback on provided services
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Team Coordination:

• Facilitate effective communication between the Virtual Spoke and the hub to optimize operational efficiency.

Route Planning and Optimization:

• Monitor and analyze route efficiency, proposing adjustments as necessary to improve delivery timelines.

Training and Onboarding:

• Assist in the training and onboarding of Virtual Spoke teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures.
• Provide ongoing support and resources to enhance the team's effectiveness.
• Lead operational excellence documentation and continuous improvement, including

metrics development and publishing scorecards

• Address operational challenges promptly and efficiently, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to find effective solutions.
• Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving issues at the Virtual Spoke location.

Inventory Management

• · Provides inventory reports to purchasing and inventory control manager.
• · Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors.
• · Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
• · Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of the purchasing or inventory control manager.
• · Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.

Sales Management

• · Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
• · Identifies and analyzes customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
• · Resolves customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
• Consults with potential customers to understand their needs; identifies and suggests equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs

Qualifications:

Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in utilizing technology and software for route planning and team coordination.

Travel/Training Expectations:

Travel is a significant component of this role. On average, expect to spend approximately 80% of your time traveling to various locations within your region. This travel is primarily related to delivery of materials, client meetings, project implementations & training sessions.

Initial training for this role includes up to 2months (but no less than 1 month) in-person training at our headquarters located in Houston, Texas.

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
