Jacobs is seeking a Collections & Distribution (C&D) Manager to join our collaborative team in Pembroke Pines, FL. As the Collections & Distribution Manager you'll be responsible for providing oversight of our Collections and Distribution Department. You'll lead daily maintenance activities as well as establish maintenance systems and tools to provide superior client service and technical support to water and wastewater infrastructure. You'll be required to perform evaluations to determine efficiency of maintenance, safety, and restoration practices. Responsible for all corrective and preventive maintenance activities and remedial action in emergencies. You'll supervise, evaluate and train managers and teams.

Here's what we need from you:

• You will have demonstrated experience, technical skills, and business acumen to lead & direct C&D operations at a high level. Professional knowledge of the principles, methods and tools employed in the general operation of pipe repairs, CCTV inspections, meter replacements, emergency pipe repairs, restorative activities, road repairs, pipe cleaning, and other related activities of the department.
• Support client relationship with positive client engagement and professional reporting, resulting in client confidence/satisfaction.
• Provide support, mentoring, training, and leadership to assure the highest effort on the part of onsite managers.
• Maintain cost levels to assure compliance with budget projections.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Director to assure effective communication is maintained at all levels and provide support in development of contract Maintenance and other efforts.
• Establish and lead development and training program to drive professional advancement within the organization.
• Organize and direct C&D team to deliver high performance in Safety, Preventive Maintenance, Customer Service, Quality, and Sustainability.
• Assure personnel compliance with corporate and client reporting systems
• Develop budgets and assist in the preparation of Preventive Maintenance strategies to exceed contract and company requirements/deliverables.

• 5 years in a Public Works/Utilities leadership role, preferably in Collections and Distribution.
• 5 years of Collections & Distribution experience.
• Basic electrical/mechanical knowledge involved in working on pump motors, controls or other equipment such as high velocity hydro cleaning equipment, power rodding, or other equipment used in removing debris from sewer pipe, and related equipment including line cleaning, TV inspection, and vactor truck operation.
• Knowledge of safe work practices, supervisory training, principles of budget preparation and expenditure control and federal and state laws as they pertain to the water/wastewater industry.
• Possess a valid driver's license with no major infractions
• Proficiency with computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and CMMS systems
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
• Bachelor's degree in related field (i.e. Engineering, Business, etc.)
• 10 years of experience as a Manager / Department Head of C&D, Maintenance and/or Public Works operations.
• Ability to make presentations and create professional reports/presentations.
• Good oral and written communications.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented work practices, and strong data analysis & technical problem-solving skills.
• Advanced interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain credibility across all levels of the organization.
• Class A CDL
• Class A Collections License
• Class 1 Water Distribution License
