This position is responsible for mail distribution, managing facilities maintenance, and performing various administrative functions associated with the role. This is a department of one so the successful candidate must be reliable and able to work without constant oversight.
Major Responsibilities
- Operates mail service equipment postage, complex inserts, and sorters.
- Serves as liaison for mail service and other departments.
- Delivers supplies needed for mailing projects.
- Sorts, distributes and collects USPS, FedEx mail and UPS packages.
- Tracks and maintains records and logs of mailing.
- Picks up and delivers materials for special mailings.
- Initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of equipment in the office.
- Manages service calls with vendor for any issues within the building.
- Responsible for ordering supplies and inventory of supplies, including tracking status and orders.
- Serves as backup at receptionist desk during absences or lunches.
- Miscellaneous office assistance as requested.
