Position Overview
As a Floater Caregiver and Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to our clients while also assisting with administrative tasks in our office. This hybrid role requires someone who is compassionate, organized, and adept at managing multiple responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to clients, including assistance with activities of daily living, companionship, and emotional support.
- Assist clients with mobility, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication reminders as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records.
- Assist with basic office duties including filing, data entry, and organizing office supplies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and Office software preferred (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of car insurance required.
Schedule
- Full-time position, approximately 40 hours per week.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
