Must meet the following criteria
-EXPERIENCE IN CONSTRUCTION IS A MUST!!!!!! MINIMUM 2 YEARS!!!
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Manage daily administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Project Coordination: Assist project managers and foremen with documentation, scheduling, and communication to ensure project timelines are met.
- Client Interaction: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Supply Management: Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed to ensure the office operates smoothly.
- Filing and Documentation: Organize and maintain accurate records, contracts, and project documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Financial Support: Assist with basic financial tasks such as invoicing, expense tracking, and collaborating with the accounting team.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when necessary.
- General Office Maintenance: Keep the office environment clean, organized, and welcoming for employees and visitors.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient communication and a cohesive work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or education is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in office administration, IN CONSTRUCTION
- Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with project management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams, clients, and suppliers.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of financial processes, including invoicing and expense tracking.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Administrative experience: 4 years (Required)
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
- Working for a construction company: 2 years (Required)
