We seek a personable and energetic professional to join our growing company as an Office Manager/ HR Associate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role provides a unique opportunity to provide on-site office management and human resources support in our Chantilly, VA office.

As Office Manager, the successful candidate will oversee the reception workflow, including phone system operation and provide backup coverage of the reception desk, oversight of office supply maintenance and office equipment management, and provide general facilities management coordination and general maintenance oversight with contractors/vendors for the central office in Chantilly as well as, the satellite office in Newport News. Additionally, this position will actively research and plan social events and support senior leadership in scheduling/conference calendar administration and travel scheduling.

As a Human Resources Associate, the successful candidate will guide on semi-routine HR matters and perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to recruiting, onboarding, maintaining HR records, including personnel files, benefits coordination, including, annual enrollment, weekly and monthly billing, compliance review and submittals, PTO/leave administration, timekeeping coordination with the Payroll Administrator, employee recognition, and event coordination. The nature of this work will, at times, require a quick response to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.

*This position is not eligible for remote work.

Required office hours are 7:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent. An associate/bachelor’s degree in business/HR/related-field is highly preferred.
  • 5-10 years of office/administrative/facilities/HR experience (may be a combination of education/experience in any of these areas)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Dominion Payroll/iSolved
