Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Upsell food and drink items to increase sales revenue
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong hospitality and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with sales techniques to promote menu items and specials
- Proficient in handling food and beverages safely
- Cash handling experience is required
- Understanding of restaurant or retail math for inventory management
