Job Description
- Responsible for business and financial accounts including AP, AR, payroll, banking, ACH, annual budgets, state and federal quarterly reports. Use of QuickBooks Pro for accounting activities.
- Annual Audit/Review-preparation through final report.
- Responsible for personnel, administrative, financial, and correspondence files-updating as necessary.
- Maintain leave banks and annuity contributions for paid staff. Enroll new employees in health insurance programs and annuity programs.
- Receptionist duties as needed. Including office inventory and purchasing.
- Monthly apparatus reports Attend and take minutes for all Board of Directors meetings.
- Attend training classes, schools and seminars as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alaska Driver’s license
- Experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
- Proficient with QuickBooks
- Current Notary Public certification or ability to get one.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Background will be viewed.
