The Office Manager is responsible and accountable for:
- Prepare timely billings to customer, monitor/ensure timely payment, and make collections calls as required.
- Assist with Year-end Inventory.
- Job billing and creation of AIA billing documents.
- Financial statement preparation.
- Monthly sales tax and other taxes as calculated by CIH.
- Month end reconciliation, year-end and closing journal entries.
- Bank Deposits.
- Creation of Customer new accounts.
- ACH fraud prevention - review of positive pay exceptions.
- Lien Waivers.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Assist with Human Resources: new hire orientations, communicating staff issues to HR Manager, and other duties as assigned.
- Duties as assigned by the General Manager, Controller, or CFO.
- Accounting.
- Payroll.
- Human Resources liaison functions.
- Using office equipment to complete tasks.
- Timely and professional correspondence through email.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Assisting with phones as needed.
- High School Education or equivalent.
- Pre-employment background screening.
- No issue with repetitive use of fingers and hands, standing, squatting, bending and lifting up to 20lbs.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in Accounting.
- Ability to use office equipment (printers, copiers, fax machines, mailing equipment, etc..)
