Organizational and communication skills are foundational qualities for anyone in this position—a large part of the work involves collaborating with bankers, borrowers, bank closers, third parties, and settlement agents directly by phone and email. Lastly, we are looking for someone who can work independently—our atmosphere is collaborative, but all team members must be able to take the reins when they are put on an assignment.

Job responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the lender and borrower to obtain all of the loan due diligence materials
- Coordinate good faith deposits (via wire)
- Track the entire loan process (updated status and planned dates of deliverables) in loan tracking software
- Provide daily/weekly updates to all involved parties as dictated by the stage of the process
- Schedule multiple property inspections by lender and others with owner or property manager
- Oversee the loan closing timeline and keep all parties on track
- Fill out forms, or do other data entry to help the borrower with loan application paperwork
- Collaborate with appraiser, engineer, environmental inspector to obtain necessary information to ensure that the third-party reports are delivered timely
- Coordinate with the insurance agent to obtain accord forms evidencing insurance coverage and confirm acceptability to the lender
- Request and file a loan disbursement statement at the end of the loan

Experience:
A qualified candidate possesses excellent communication skills (verbal and written), strong attention to detail, and is organized. A candidate should demonstrate enthusiasm for the job, have had some work experience, and be able to provide references who can speak to the candidate’s ability to perform on-the-job learning.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
