About Us
Minnesota Alliance on Problem Gambling (MNAPG), the state affiliate to the National Council on Problem Gambling, is seeking a new Part time Operations Manager. MNAPG was started in 2001 out of a need to raise public awareness and build resources for those who are addicted to gambling. As the state’s advocacy organization committed to improving the lives of those affected by problem gambling, we are the leading resource for people in recovery, families, treatment providers, researchers, educators, gaming industry and legislators to learn about the latest research and trends in the problem gambling arena.
As a small nonprofit (4-person staff including this position), we seek an individual who has strong organizational skills, detailed record keeping and participate in our communications workflow through HubSpot. Working in conjunction with our communication/design consultants, you will help monitor traffic to social platforms, along with managing our CRM database (in HubSpot), maintaining relationships with our vendors and the various professional and community associations with whom we regularly interact. Additionally, there will be administrative tasks related to operations – making sure we have needed office supplies, placing orders with our printers, and monthly coding of our invoices and entry into QuickBooks.
There’s a great deal of autonomy for a person who is self-initiated and likes to work collaboratively. Because of our small staff, it’s important that the ideal candidate be willing to be flexible and has interest in sharing a diverse set of skills that will help the organization to continue evolving.
MNAPG hosts a state-wide conference, offering CEUs to various professionals and devising a program that invites national speakers and instructors. Assistance in planning and implementing the conference will also be a part of the Office Manager’s duties.
The Office Manager will work directly with the Executive Director.
