What you'll do:
- Manage the overall Austin office including but not limited to janitorial, repair and maintenance, access badge management, coordination with the landlord.
- Partner with Redis Facilities, IT and other internal teams on coordinating existing and new office projects to make sure all aspects of the office space are functional and represent the Redis culture. This includes coordinating office relocation and closure of existing office.
- Serve as the main point of contact for onsite mailing, shipping, supplies, and equipment as well as partner with finance on office budgeting.
- Help to set up and coordinate art installations, construction, ordering office materials and supplies to help make the office a true representation of the Redis culture.
- Orient new employees and visitors to help them to find desks, join the right distribution lists, send welcome emails, manage parking passes, manage the office badging system through Brivo etc.
- Make sure that snacks, lunch, catering, coffee, etc., are all ordered properly by coordinating with our food vendors and finance teams.
- Assist in space planning and design (furniture and other equipment) for the Austin site.
- Partner on or independently manage both small and large office events (Ex: Leadership offsites, bootcamps, team offsites, happy hours, holiday events, volunteering events).
- Manage relationships with site vendors, service providers, and building management.
- Keep EH&S up-to-date. Office safety is a top priority.
- Partner with IT to provide operational and administrative support for all employees for site-specific needs (logistics for meetings, conference rooms, etc.).
- Be responsible for providing office status updates within HR.
- Ensure and maintain confidentiality of all appropriate communications and documentation.
- Take on occasional stretch opportunities and projects in partnership with HR.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on vendor inquiries for non-standard purchases.
- Maintain strong office and team culture in partnership with HR.
- Assist with other ad hoc administrative support duties as required.
What will you need to have?
- 2+ years Office Manager/admin experience
- Strong facilities management experience in space planning, design, working with vendors, IT, real estate agents, and contracts
- Strong experience with budget planning and working with PO's and finance systems (Ex: Netsuite & Expensify)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels of employees, guests, vendors, and team members
- Excellent computer skills, data entry, excel skills, and experience with Google tools (Gmail, Calendar, G-Drive)
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and projects
- Experience multi-tasking and changing direction quickly
- Proven experience building solid connections, networks, and business relationships

The estimated gross base annual salary range for this role is $72,727– $118,182per year in Texas. Actual compensation may vary and is dependent on various factors, including a candidate's work location, qualifications, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of Redis' total compensation and competitive benefits package, which may include 401(k), unlimited time off, learning and development opportunities, and comprehensive health and wellness benefits. This role may include discretionary bonuses, stock options, commuter benefits based on location, or a commission plan. Salary history is not used in compensation package decisions. Redis utilizes market pay data to determine compensation, so posted compensation ranges are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
