Office Manager At Education Center

This position entails 2 different jobsites at Kumon (an afterschool Education Center). Candidates must be able to commute to both sites. Kumon Sherman Oaks & Kumon West Hills is hiring a front Office Manager to work 4-5 days per week (24-35 hours per week).

Sherman Oaks Location: 4820 Fulton Ave., Sherman Oaks, CA 91423
West Hills Location: 22742 Roscoe Blvd., West Hills, CA 91304

Suggested starting schedule would be:
Tuesdays (Sherman Oaks): 1:30pm - 7:30pm
Wednesdays (West Hills): 1:30pm - 7:30pm
Thursdays (Sherman Oaks): 1:30pm - 7:30pm
Fridays (Sherman Oaks): TBD
Saturdays (West Hills): 9:30am - 3pm

The job involves new student intake, parent orientations, parent communication, answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting the instructor, student administration, checking students in and out, grading. We are looking for a responsible and dependable employee who will commit to working a long term position. Starting pay is $18-20/hour. After 3 months, pay raise to $20-23 will be considered based on performance.

Candidate must have reliable transportation, excellent communication skills, and be comfortable with presenting in front of multiple people. Candidate must be very organized, detail-orientated, able to multi-task, have experience working as an assistant and/or receptionist, school administration, be tech savvy, have their own laptop. Experience working with children is a plus. Will require at least 3 references. English fluency is a requirement.
