Office Coordinator position in Elgin, IL!
Lee Hecht Harrison is looking for an Administrative professional with experience leading small offices to lead a new location for a local non-profit organization that provides services to senior citizens. Compensation Range: $22.00 - $25.00 Per Hour (Depending on Experience & Technical Skillet)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Hours: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm (Will be Opening & Closing Office) (Full-Time; 40 Hours)
Worksite: In-Office / Onsite (Small Office & Distribution Center)
Dress Code: Business Casual
Report To: Executive Director

Responsibilities:
Opening & closing the regional office & food distribution center for a local non-profit that provides ready-made meals to senior citizens
Running the office (keeping in contact with catering company, scheduling & ensuring delivery of meals, keeping maintenance logs for delivery vehicles, ordering supplies, requests for building services, etc.)
Handling inbound phone calls & in-person inquiries about the non-profit’s programs & services, troubleshooting office IT issues, and acting as a main point of contact for the central office.
Coordinating monthly Zoom meetings with the Central office for status updates, reporting, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
2-3 years of experience as a (small) Office Manager, Office Coordinator, Administrative Assistant or Retail Keyholder with oversight for a specific location
Experience running an office or location (opening & closing office, order supplies, building maintenance organization, staff management & orientation, etc.)
Must be proficient in setting up general office technology and have the wherewithal to handle unique issues as they crop up
Ability to take on a wide variety of clerical tasks in an office that can get very busy but also have an ability to find work to do during downtimes
