Job Title: Mail Room Clerk
Location: Plano, TX
Mailroom Clerk Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sort and Scan incoming mail to relevant departments (i.e., HR, AR, AP etc.) (training provided). Deliver mail electronically.
- Proactively work to reduce mail.
- Stop mail that is being delivered electronically.
- Identify opportunities for electronic mailing.
- Package, sort, and send outgoing mail.
- Track all shipments and deliveries.
- Take inventory of mailing supplies
- Report any address issues.
Mailroom Clerk Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Mailroom experience (preferred)
- Computer/MS office proficiency.
- Organizational skills
- Data entry skills
- Physical stamina
- Communication skills
- The position will require some travel.
- Approximately 75 miles per week.
- Candidate must have access to a personal vehicle.
- The position will be reimbursed at the federal rate for all job required travel.
- Must be a US citizen or provide proof of work eligibility.
Type of contact: Part Time
Expected hours per week: 16.
Location: In Person
Hours: Flexible in planning but fixed once set. (3-4 days per week.)
