Office Clerk - Mail Room

Job Title: Mail Room Clerk

Location: Plano, TX

Mailroom Clerk Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sort and Scan incoming mail to relevant departments (i.e., HR, AR, AP etc.) (training provided).  Deliver mail electronically.
• Proactively work to reduce mail.
• Stop mail that is being delivered electronically.
• Identify opportunities for electronic mailing.
• Package, sort, and send outgoing mail.
• Track all shipments and deliveries.
• Take inventory of mailing supplies
• Report any address issues.

Mailroom Clerk Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Mailroom experience (preferred)
• Computer/MS office proficiency.
• Organizational skills
• Data entry skills
• Physical stamina
• Communication skills
• The position will require some travel.
• Approximately 75 miles per week.
• Candidate must have access to a personal vehicle.
• The position will be reimbursed at the federal rate for all job required travel.
• Must be a US citizen or provide proof of work eligibility.

Type of contact: Part Time

Expected hours per week: 16.

Location: In Person

Hours: Flexible in planning but fixed once set. (3-4 days per week.)
