We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to act as our primary bookkeeper.
Bookkeeping duties include:
- AP/AR - enter bills, cut checks, enter deposits, code and categorize each transaction
- Issue invoices, follow up on overdue accounts
- Payroll
- Run and review financial statements
- IRS, payroll and paperwork completion
- Assist with tax preparation, coordinating with tax preparer
- Communicate (verbal & written) with clients and vendors;
- Maintain an orderly electronic and paper filing system;
- If necessary, investigate invoice discrepancies;
- Record financial transactions into QuickBooks;
- Assist in retrieving documentation for and from clients and vendors
- Administrative management (filing, scheduling, reporting)
Requirements:
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, payables and receivables.
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records both local and web based.
Hands-on experience with Quickbooks, Excel spreadsheets and MS Office.

This is a flexible part time position, we are looking to have someone report to our office twice a week and there is an opportunity for some remote work as well.
