POSITION SUMMARY:
We are a high-quality Metal Fabricator looking to add an Office Assistant / HR Assistant to join our team. Under the direct supervision of the CFO, this integral role will be focused on back office administrative functions and Human Resource activities. In addition to being pivotal in inspiring positive employee moral and promoting family culture, this position requires a self-motivated and driven individual with high moral character and integrity who has demonstrated success in teamwork.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES:
▪ Onboarding / Offboarding of employees
▪ Maintain employee files / I9 / E‐Verify / AL new hire reporting
▪ Workers Comp Claims – First Reports of Injury
▪ Open Enrollment – Collecting Forms
▪ Maintain Company Calendar
▪ Manage temp labor resources, vendor relationship and billing
▪ Event Preparation and Employee appreciation program management.
▪ Office and Shop Supply management and purchasing
▪ Provides HR resources as directed by department head
▪ Management of weekly payroll documentation
▪ Answer the phones / customer front facing
▪ Purchase Order follow up as directed
▪ Cut sheet Inventory Management
▪ General Administrative assistance
▪ Employee facing for 401k and benefits
▪ Recruiting - Pre-Screening, interview set up, drug testing, initial paperwork, etc.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education – Associates degree or equivalent work history
Job Experience - Experience in a Human Recourse or recruiting role highly desired; experience with administrative accounting
Related - Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:
▪ Occasional elevated indoor temperatures associated with Southeastern USA weather.

▪ Must be able to climb stairs
▪ Ability to work in standing, squatting, or kneeling positions as well as reaching overhead with occasional twisting and bending
▪ Ability to work in small spaces
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
Work schedule is generally 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday through Friday but may be revised based on job requirements per specific contracts. Such schedule will be agreed upon by employee and the Company.
This position is an exempt position and work outside of standard business hours may be required.
