Job description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. You will provide administrative support to various departments and assist with customer service tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities:
- Perform clerical duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
- Provide exceptional customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Maintain and organize files, both physical and computerized, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Support office management tasks such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating maintenance requests
- Serve as a liaison between field supervisors and office administration, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
- Conduct basic administrative tasks such as data entry, proofreading documents, and preparing reports

Skills:
- Strong clerical skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Prior experience with QuickBooks is a plus
- Knowledge of building construction is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
