Office Assistant
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments and meetings
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate projects and ensure timely completion
- Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and completeness
- Transcribe notes and documents as needed
- Greet and assist visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting and distributing
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
Skills:
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Project coordination skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
- General clerical skills such as filing, organizing, and maintaining records
- Ability to transcribe information accurately and efficiently
- Proofreading skills to ensure error-free documents
- Experience as a medical receptionist is a plus
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
- Excellent phone etiquette with a professional demeanor
